VOLUNTEER

We can always use a helping hand.  We often need volunteers when we work on raising awareness in the community and fundraising.  Here are just a few ways you can help:

  • Hang green ribbons in May

  • Guest check-in at the golf course

  • Set-up and tear-down for events

  • Solicit donations for fundraiser

EDUCATION

Education is a form of advocacy in itself. There are many ways you can learn more about mental illness.  Please visit our Facebook Page for a variety of articles related to mental health issues. We have also found Mental Health America to be a solid resource.  Contact us to learn where and how you may find educational opportunities.

ADVOCATE

Once educated on mental health awareness topics you can give back by educating others through simply beginning a discussion around those topics you have become educated on. Speak-up if you hear mental illness framed in a negative way.  Work to educate others on mental health topics and join us in breaking the stigma around mental illness.  Contact us if you have questions or need support.
